Furthermore, Pliny and Solinus have reported that in a great valley of Mount Imaus—or perhaps Timaus—there is a region called Abarimon, inhabited by people whose feet are turned backward behind their legs. They are remarkably swift and live their lives among wild animals. It is said they cannot breathe in any soil but their own; for this reason, they can by no means be brought to neighboring princes.
