In the *History of Cloven-footed Quadrupeds*, after the nature of the camel had been described, the giraffe was also discussed. At that time, only a single illustration of the animal was provided. Now, to afford a more complete understanding of this creature, we are presenting two further images for inspection—specifically of the male and the female—so that the reader may recognize how their appearance varies according to their sex.
