Next follows another image of a monstrous creature depicted in the Bembine Table, which in some respects resembles the form of a Hippogriff. It possesses a human face with a certain hairy appendage adorning the chin and a curled lock of hair upon its forehead. This figure is further composed of bird-like wings and the limbs of a clawed quadruped, as can be seen in the illustration.
